Pre DEALL – The Pre Diagnostic Intervention program is a new program from Com DEALL, developed specifically to cater to the needs of very young children, i. e. toddlers in the age range of 18 to 36 months, who had been identified as being ‘at risk’ for autism, even though they had not received a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Pre DEALL manual is the outcome of the field trials of a pre-diagnostic mother-child intervention program that was designed to address the need of very young children. The involvement of mothers in the program has enabled reduction of professional involvement with concomitant savings in costs and has also enhanced the reach of the benefits of intervention by empowering the mothers to provide the same beyond the clinic.
